Kelsey MacCuish, MPH (she/her/hers) is the HPI Project Manager and Lead Analyst at the Public Health Alliance of Southern California. Kelsey is interested in how the environment (whether built or social) impacts the health of communities. She is especially passionate about using data as a tool to create policies that promote health equity. Prior to joining the Alliance,Kelsey worked at the California Department of Public Health where she conducted research on asymptomatic mpox and studied the mpox case and vaccination distribution by HPI quartile in California.

Kelsey has a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of California, Berkeley and is currently based in Oakland, California. In her free time she likes swimming, reading and listening to true crime stories, and playing card/board games.
