Ana Bonilla is a lifelong Angeleno with over a decade of experience in health equity, land use, healthy communities, and affordable housing policy. Previously, Ana led Enterprise Community Partner’s affordable housing and early learning policy work, establishing their Pacific Northwest policy presence. At the Prevention Institute she contributed foundational research to the 2015 report Healthy Development without Displacement and produced research and reports for the LA based Healthy, Equitable, Active Land Use (HEALU) Network. At The California Endowment’s Building Healthy Communities initiative in Long Beach, she helped to initiate and grow the local collaborative, which focused on identifying policy, systems and environmental changes for health equity. Ana received a bachelor’s degree in Urban and Environmental Policy from Occidental College and a dual master’s degree in Public Health and Urban and Regional Planning at UCLA. Ana enjoys going on mini adventures with her daughter Isabel, and has spent years practicing Capoeira.
